Ivan Cipriani Associati is an interdisciplinary design firm based in Florence, Italy which specializes in interior architecture. Our work includes numerous projects in retail, residential, commercial, product design, and visual branding.The firm is comprised of three partners, Ivan and Dimitri Cipriani and Adam Gaon; the Cipriani clan, Florentine natives with over 50 comprehensive years of experience in the design and construction industries, and Adam Gaon, a New York architect who has been living and practicing in Florence for over 20 years.
It is the strength of this Italo – American partnership which has allowed us to bridge the two cultures combining our design and management skills to create a winning formula as a basis for our collaboration with international fashion brands in the retail sector. The firm has a clear and profound understanding of working and dealing with both cultures on an international basis. Our broad experience and insight in all project typologies, sizes and locations gives us an excellent understanding and command of worldwide retail rollouts and fast track franchise shopfitting. This cross culture partnership, as a principal component of our client relationship has allowed us to design, coordinate and build hundreds of projects throughout the world. While we work extensively throughout continental Europe our work experience in Russia, the Middle East, South America and China has brought us to the forefront of working in foreign and emerging countries worldwide. The studio is known for its innovative work that reflects the distinctive characteristics unique to each client. The studio uses clean simple lines, texture, natural materials, and light as their tools for enhancing spaces with a warm, sophisticated and contemporary feel. While our professional expertise lies in retail design, the studio has extensive experience in the design of hotels, commercial interiors and private residences.
In the retail sector, the firm is equally adept at creating original retail concepts and following through with the international rollouts as being the design/project architect for retail projects based on existing fixture concepts.
